All India Congress Committee ( AICC) has announced to field PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh as a Congress candidate to contest the Mandi parliament seat against BJP nominee Film actress Kangna Ranaut.
Vikramaditya Singh is son of six times former Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his mother Pratibha Singh is sitting Congress MP from Mandi.
The AICC released list of 21 candidates for the parliament elections after a meeting in New Delhi on Saturday.
The party has decided to field sitting MLA Vinod Sultanpuri from Kasauli constituency as the party candidate to contest Shimla( reserve) constituency and Manish Tiwari to contest Chandigarh parliamentary constituency.
Sultanpuri is son of former six times Congress MP from Shimla constituency KD Sultanpuri.
