Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has given approval to grant Rs 1500 per month to eligible women under Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojna.
The Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu held at Shimla on Thursday also decided to consider the recommendations of the Cabinet Sub Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Education Minister Rohit Thakur to frame policy for recruitment of SMC teachers .
It also gave approval to recruit 2401 SMC teachers through limited direct recruitment on contract basis and fill up 985 posts of lecturer in computer science.
The Cabinet expressed its full faith in the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and reaffirmed the entire Cabinet is united under his leadership.
The Cabinet also condemned, “The alleged use of official machinery by the Government of India to destabilize a democratically elected government and also condemned the nefarious designs of BJP to subvert the democratic process.”
The Cabinet urged the Government of India to release an amount of Rs. 9043 crore for Post-Disaster Need Assessment (PDNA) without any further delay.
It gave its nod to open a Community Health Centre at Darlaghat in Solan district and Primary Health Centre at Pihari in Jawalamukhi area of Kangra district.
Meanwhile the Cabinet subcommittee headed by Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri has also recommended to the state government to announce the result of candidates selected or JOA (IT) post code 817, withheld due to vigilance inquiry and registration of FIR against few employees of disbanded Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur.
