In very shocking news Prof. Simi Agnihotri, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, passed away last night .
The news of her death was shared by the Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri himself on his Facebook account “Prof. Simi left us last night leaving me and our daughter Dr Astha.”
According to information, “Prof. Simi was at her residence in village Gondpur of Haroli tehsil in Una district and observed some breathing trouble at night after which she was taken to a private hospital in Mohali but was declared brought dead by the Doctors; Mukesh Agnihotri was in Shimla and attended a Cabinet Meeting on Friday evening, immediately rushed to Una.”
Simi was a teacher in the Legal Studies Department of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla and hailed from Mandi. Simi and Mukesh had married in 1992 and have a daughter.
Prof. Simi would be cremated in village Gondpur at 2 pm today.
