Returning officer for Rajya Sabha Election from Himachal Pradesh issued a notification to fill a Rajya Sabha seat from Himachal getting vacated on April 2, 2024.
As per election schedule announced by the Returning Officer of Himachal Pradesh State Assembly on Thursday, the nomination papers can be filed from February 15 to February 16 from 11 am to 3 PM, the scrutiny of nomination papers would be undertaken on February 20 and the election if necessitated would be held on February 27, 2024 from 9 am to 4 pm to elect a Rajya Sabha member from the state.
