Himachal Government College Teachers’ Association (HGCTA) has urged the state government to extend the last date of application for national scholarship.
In a press release president of the HGCTA Banita Saklani said, “Many colleges in the state have been facing technical issues on the National Scholarship Portal and many students are facing difficulties to apply online.”
She said, “In this situation many students would not be able to apply for the scholarship by December 31, 2023, the last date of application; since the portal is working in a sluggish manner the teachers have apprised Director Higher Education about the problem and requested him to extend the last date by at least ten days”, she added.
