Rekha Chauhan a known stage singer of Mandi has been awarded Shane –e- Bharat (Himachal) national award by an organization – Betia Foundation.
The award was given to Rekha Chauhan for her contribution in folk singing, in a function held at Manali recently by president of the foundation Dr. Jyotsna Jain.
Rekha hails from Joginder Nagar area of Mandi district and has been performing stage shows for nearly two decades in the state. She has also been getting accolades from the audience and appreciation from music critics.
