To improve air connectivity in Himachal Pradesh, two more air flights to connect Kullu- Shimla and Amritsar are being launched by Alliance Airlines.
The flights on Kullu-Amritsar-Kullu airway are scheduled to commence on October 1 and operate thrice a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The flight on Shimla-Amritsar-Shimla airway would start its operation on November 1 and would also operate three times a week.
The airline has already started ticket booking for Kullu- Amritsar – Kullu airway, which would be taking off from Bhuntar airport at 8.25 am and landing at Amritsar at 9.30 am . The flight from Amritsar would take off at 10 am and land at Bhuntar at 11.05 am.
As per an airline source, “ fifty percent seats in the flights would be available on subsidized fare of Rs 2637 and rest would be sold for Rs 3284 per seat” .
Alliance Air has already initiated ticket bookings for the Kullu-Amritsar-Kullu route making it convenient for travellers to plan their journey. The Kullu-Amritsar flight will depart at 8:25 AM from Kullu, reaching Amritsar at 09:30 AM, while the return flight from Amritsar will take off at 10:00 AM and arrive at Bhuntar at 11:05 AM.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, “Air connectivity with Amritsar international airport would prove helpful in reaching several domestic and international destinations. besides facilitating access to Kullu-Manali, Lahaul & Spiti.”
