Himachal Pradesh government has released an amount of Rs 4.5 crore to Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) for paying liabilities of employees of the corporation.  

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said, “The state government is making every effort to settle liabilities of the corporation employees and an amount of Rs 4.5 crore has been released on Thursday for paying overtime and night allowance.”   

The Deputy CM also announced the restarting of the country’s longest Delhi –Leh service from Thursday.

This bus route passes through Baralacha Pass (4850 m.), Tanglang Pass (5328 m), and Naki Pass (4769 m.). It would touch several scenic places covering a distance of 1026 kms.

The bus will leave Delhi at 3.45 pm and reach Keylong the next day at 10.30 pm,  halt for the night at Keylong and reach Leh 4.am  It   completes its journey in 30 hours and bus fare for one way journey has been fixed at Rs 1736 .
