Himachal Pradesh State Cabinet has decided to constitute a committee to hold discussion with the power developers on water cess levied by the state government, headed by Secretary Power and having representatives from Jal Shakti, Finance and Law departments.
The meeting presided over by CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has also given approval to start primary level Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Schools at Jawalamukhi, Fatehpur and Bhoranj .
It also decided to fill up 69 posts of jail warders in the prisons department, twenty posts in sub jail Kishanpura a (Nalagarh) and also gave nod to open three Highway Tourist Offices at Baghed, Nerchowk and Bhunter.
The Cabinet decided to enhance the monthly honorarium of part time panchayat chowkidars from Rs. 6200 to Rs. 6700 from April 1, 2023, extend the working hours of bars in the state from 12 pm to 1 am and introduce paperless registration in employment exchanges
It also gave approval to start medical and non-medical classes in government college Dhami and fill up requisite posts.
