Ranbir Thakur Mandi District BJP president has strongly condemned the accusations against the party and senior leaders by former MLA Jawahar Thakur.
Talking to media persons at Mandi on Friday he said , “ Two days back former BJP MLA Jawahar Thakur made unfounded and baseless accusations against the senior party leaders which is an act of indiscipline and highly condemnable.”
He said, “In BJP every party men is supposed to respect the decision of the party in allotment of party tickets and it’s strange Jawahar Thakur, who was given party ticket thrice and made BJP MLA from Darang is now questioning the decision of the party for not giving him party ticket during the last Assembly election.”
He questioned, “Why did not he raise these issues in party forums like Legislative Party and Executive Committee Meetings and now maligning the party and leaders after six months by holding them responsible for the defeat.”
The District BJP president said, “The BJP leadership has summoned a report from us and we have demanded disciplinary action against him.”
