Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said , “ There is no Godly work than serving humanity as service to mankind gives you such a great feeling and happiness which no other service can give”.
The Governor said this after visiting Divya Manav Jyoti Sewa Samiti at Dehar on Monday.
During his maiden tour of Mandi district after becoming the Governor of the state he said, “This institution is working on the path shown by Swami Swatantranand Maharaj and congratulated the office bearers of the trust for carrying forward the mission of Swami Ji.”
He said, “ The Sewa Samiti is doing commendable work to educate and bring up children here, besides giving financial assistance to girls; as many students are unable to meet their expenses of education the Samiti is proving to be of great help to them .”
Earlier, Satya Prakash Arya, Chairman of the Trust felicitated the Governor. Local MLA Rakesh Jamwal among other dignitaries was present on the occasion.
