The Rampur police have registered a complaint in the death of a six years old child for ‘alleged faulty injection ‘at Khaneri government health center.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rampur Chandershekhar said, “ In a compliant Semal Singh has alleged his six years old son Arvind suffering from sore throat and cough was taken to health center Khaneri where a nurse administered him an injection after which the boy started vomiting blood; the boy was referred to Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla .”
“The boy was put on a ventilator there but died on February 6; the police have registered a complaint and investigation is on this matter,” he added.

It is very strange that people are not safe in the hands of doctors or paramedics. It needs a proper investigation into why and under whose supervision the injection was administered to the baby.
