Himachal BJP has promised to introduce uniform civil code in the state in its election manifesto.
BJP manifesto was released on Sunday at Shimla by BJP national president JP Nadda. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, state BJP president Suresh Kashyap, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and several other leaders.
Besides, introducing uniform civil code, BJP has promised to give Rs 3000 annually under annadata yojna for poor people , give eight lakh jobs in government and private sector, connect all villages with a pucca road, religious tourism would be developed by spending Rs 12000 crore under Shakti Yojna to improve temples, GST above 12 percent would be borne by the state government on packaging material used by fruit growers and open five new medical colleges in the state.
BJP has also promised to resolve all issues related to state government employees, set up a Rs 9000 crore corpus fund to help startups, increase money being given to families of the martyrs, conduct survey of all WAQF board properties, give shagun of Rs 31000 to Rs 51000 on marriage of poor girls, give scooty to every girl studying in schools from 6th to 12 class, give 33 percent reservation to females in state government jobs and constitute a judicial commission to identify illegal properties in the state .
BJP president JP Nadda said BJP has tried to watch interest of every section of society with special emphasis on weaker sections and women in its election manifesto.
