The State Cabinet meeting held here on Thursday at Shimla under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur thanked Prime Minister Narender Modi for sanctioning Bulk Drug Pharma Park for state as this would prove a milestone in development of the state.
The Cabinet has decided to fill up backlog of 98 posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officers amongst Ex-servicemen category- 68 posts on batch wise, open sub tehsil at Saho, Thali Chakti, Bharari, Jeori, and fill up 36 posts of different categories in Himachal High Court and fill up five posts of psychiatrist in Medical Colleges of the state
The Cabinet gave its nod to open Degree Colleges at Sataun, Swarghat and Pandoh and open a Sanskrit College at Jagatsukh .
It decided to open several patwar circles, upgrade several schools and open new schools, open veterinary dispensaries at different places and start science and commerce classes in several Senior Secondary Schools.
The Cabinet decided to accept the recommendations of a Cabinet Sub Committee headed by Jal Shakti Minister for exclusion of some areas from the purview of H.P. Town and Country Planning Act, 1977. The sub committee recommended exclusion of area beyond 50 meters from the edge of control width on either side of four lane highways, 30 meters from the edge of control width on either side of National Highways and 10 meters from the edge of control width on either side of State Highways/ Major District Roads.
It also decided to open office of Sub Division Police Officer at Shahpur in Kangra district along with creation and filling up of nine posts.
