The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has been placed at 20th place in National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) – 2022 ranking.
A spokesman of the institute said, “The institute has been ranked at number 20 in the engineering category, at number 39 in the research category and at number 43 in overall category in the NIRF 2022, conducted by the HRD ministry and announced by HRD Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi on Friday”.
Speaking about the rankings Prof. Laxmidhar Behera, Director of the institute said, “It gives me great delight to note that IIT Mandi has made significant improvements in the NIRF 2022 ranking which has been made possible by joint efforts of our students and faculty members.”
