In a surprise move, Himachal Pradesh Government has appointed Additional chief Secretary RD Dhiman (a 1988 batch Himachal Cadre IAS officer) as new Chief Secretary of the state replacing Ram Subhag Singh. Dhiman was serving as ACS (MPP& Power, NCES, Industries and Labour Employment).
A notification to this effect has been issued by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. The government has appointed Ram Subhag Singh as Principal Advisor (administration reforms) to the state government along with Nisha Singh (advisor training) and Sanjay Gupta (advisor redresssal public grievances).
