Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has announced to enhance the daily honorarium of Home Guards from Rs 675 to Rs 883.  

He said, “ A  Home Guard Jawan is  getting monthly allowance of Rs 20258 per month at present  , which has been enhanced to Rs 26492 per month and the state government would incur and additional expenditure  of Rs 34 crore for this .
