Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said, “As many as 15 MOUs worth Rs 810 crores have been signed with entrepreneurs to set up units in Medical Devices Park Nalagarh in Solan district.”
He said, “The Medical Device Park is being set up at the cost of Rs 350 crores and the Central government would give a grant in aid of Rs 100 crores for developing common scientific facilities in the park.”
Thakur said, “The Park would also house Centre of Excellence of CiBiod PGIMER, for which detailed discussion was held with Dr. Varinder Garg, Principal Investigator of Center for Innovation and Bio-Design (CIBioD), PGIMER, Chandigarh and industries department would be signing a MOU with them soon.”
He said, “The state government is mulling to associate a partner for technological support and to attract investment in the park, besides organizing investor’s meet in different cities.”
