Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur informed the HP State Assembly, “As per information available with us all students and other people from the state stranded in Ukraine have been evacuated safely and no one is now left there.”
Making this statement in the Assembly on Monday he said, “The Central government had dealt with this issue with all sensitivity and brought stranded people from Ukraine by sending special Airline flights to neighboring countries by launching Operation Ganga.”
“Indian government had also deputed four Union Ministers to monitor the Operation Ganga “, he added.
