Prime Minister Narender Modi would address people and front-line workers of the state on September 6 on completing hundred percent vaccination against COVID-19.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur disclosed this on Tuesday while addressing DCs, SPs Heads of Medical Institutions, district health officials and other officials through video conferencing from Shimla.
Thakur said, “The state has achieved this notable distinction and the PM would virtually address people of the state and frontline workers to congratulate them for this achievement.”
He said, “The address of the PM would be widely displayed at District, Sub Division and Block levels, besides all prominent places on 90 LED screens to enable health workers and people to share their experiences with the PM”.
Thakur said, “All DCs must launch a special campaign for mop up round of the vaccination to reach out any left out person and efforts must be made to identify such people in difficult areas like Bara Bhangal, Malana and Dodra Kawar.”
He said that involvement of local MLA, vaccinated people and public representatives would also be ensured to make this event a success.
