To counter Delhi CM Arvind Kejariwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s road show in Mandi on April 6, Himachal Unit of BJP would be holding Assembly Constituency level meetings throughout the state to be addressed by Prime Minister Narender Modi virtually, on April 6 the BJP’s foundation day.
Since BJP observes its foundation day every year on April 6, the party is giving special importance to the programme this year as Kejriwal has chosen Mandi the home district of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to capitalize on its landslide win of Punjab, in Himachal.
BJP state president Suresh Kashyap said , “ The party would launch mahasampark abhiyan ( mega mass contact drive ) , mobilize 5000 workers in every Assembly segment, honour party activists by putting flags on their houses, besides putting up 50000 party flags throughout the state,”
“During the mass contact drive BJP would try to reach its activists at booth level to strengthen its grass root organization and all party leaders would attend the foundation day programmes” , he added.
