Public Works Development (PWD) Minister Vikrmaditya Singh has strongly condemned the statement of Mandi MP Kangna Ranaut regarding farmer’s agitation.
He said, “Her allegations of the role of China and the United States behind the farmer’s agitation to destabilize the Haryana government are not only baseless but also shows her intellectual bankruptcy.”
Singh advised Kangna Ranaut to act as a responsible MP of the ruling party and she should think twice and adopt restraint before making such comments and asked the external affairs ministry to issue a clarification regarding a sensitive issue raised by the MP as it is also against the foreign policy of India.
He said, “The statement of Kangna Ranat is also an insult to sacrifices of farmers who forced the Central government to withdraw the draconian three farms laws and sought her apology for her insensitive and divisive remarks against the farmers.”
