Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced to set up Rajya Chayan Aayog replacing the Staff Selection Commission (Hamirpur) within next two months to ensure fairness in the selection criteria of candidates.
Speaking at Nadaun on Monday the CM said, “The state government is committed for bringing transparency in the recruitment process by ensuring a merit-based selection process”
He said, “The Staff Selection Commission during the previous BJP government had become a hub of corruption and certain employees were caught selling question papers of screening tests conducted by the commission; our government took prompt action in the matter and the culprits are still in jail.”
The CM said , “ Nearly 6000 teachers, 3000 van mitra in forest and 1200 personal in police department will be recruited through Rajya Chayan Ayog ; more than 10000 recruitment’s would be done within a year”, he added.
