Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, presently in Shimla with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi, was taken to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla, on Saturday after she complained of uneasiness due to high blood pressure.
Gandhi (78), who is on a personal trip to Shimla along with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi, was discharged from the hospital after a regular check-up.
A doctor attending to her at IGMC said , “ Mrs Gandhi was discharged from the hospital after a few tests; her blood pressure was on the higher side, but everything is normal,” he said.
Mrs Gandhi in Shimla for the last three days and is staying with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi at her house in Chharabra , near Shimla.
