
A free, multi-specialisty medical camp was organised on Sunday at Bari Gumanu by the Mandi Press Club in association with the Seva Bharti organisation and the Himachal Pradesh Medical Representative Union.
Medical specialists examined nearly two hundred patients in the free medical checkup camp.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mandi Rohit Rathore registered his presence in the camp and also got his health checked and interacted with children residing in Sewa Bharti Sadan.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC said, “Such medical camps help villagers of rural areas as they get services of medical specialists at their doorsteps,” and congratulated Mandi Press Club, Sewa Bharti and HMRU for organising the medical camp.”

General Secretary of Mandi Press Club Hans Raj Saini said, “This is the first camp of the club, but efforts will be made to continue this sequence in the future, and emphasis will be laid on health check-ups of children”.
The team of doctors who checked health in the camp included Dr Kamal K. Singh (urologist), Dr P.C. Rana (cardiologist), Dr Naveen Kumar (gastroenterologist), Dr Harish HB (neurologist), Dr Umesh Chandel (MD – medicine), Dr Pankaj Mangotra (orthopaedic specialist), Dr Avinash Kumar (surgeon), Dr Vikas (paediatrician), Dr Anand Rajan (physiotherapist), Dr Vineet Sharma (psychiatrist), and Dr Vikrant Kumar (ENT specialist) from Harihar Hospital and a team of dental surgeons from Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar.
