Neeraj Bharti, former Jawali MLA and son of Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar, known for his controversial posts on his social media accounts, has once again embarrassed his father by criticising the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh.
Bharti had made a post on his social media account on Wednesday, wherein he had claimed, “His father, Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar, may soon resign from Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s Cabinet.”
In his post, Bharti had alleged, “The middlemen had taken control of the government, sidelining elected representatives, and there is no point in his father continuing in the Cabinet as development works in their home constituency (Jawali) remained ignored; I told him if only BJP people’s work is to be done, then resign from the ministerial post,” he stated.
Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar, through a video message, without naming his son Neeraj Bharti, had clarified, “Public service should be the main concern of the MLAs and ministers, then transfers.”
Though Bharti had stated in another post, “Chaudhary Sahib (the minister) has decided not to resign after getting assurance but not letting the controversy die down,” in a fresh post on Thursday he stated, “When you’re in opposition, you tell party-aligned employees victimised by the previous government to adjust, but once in government, you are making excuses by saying you are in public service for the welfare of people and not for transfers.”
