Exit polls released after completion of election In Haryana have predicted a comfortable win for Congress in the Assembly election. Polling for the 90 members Assembly was completed at six pm on Saturday.

Though the election result would be announced on October 8 after counting of votes, Congress has been given a comfortable majority in all exit polls giving 50 to 55 seats to Congress and 18 to 24 seats for the ruling BJP .

Almost all exit polls predict a victory for the Congress; the Satta Bazaar has predicted a victory for the Congress, with 56-57 seats, 22-23 seats for the BJP. The Matrize Survey predicted a win for the Congress, with 55-62 seats and 18-24 for the BJP; Peoples Pulse projected a Congress victory with 49-61 seats and the BJP coming second with 20-32 seats; Dhruv Research predicts 57 seats for the Congress and 27 for the BJP

The Republic TV-P Marq poll projected the Congress will win 55-62 seats, while the ruling BJP will bag 18-24 seats this time. It predicted JJP with 0-3 seats, INLD 3-6 seats and AAP not opening the tally.

Exit polls for Jammu & Kashmir election, which concluded after several round of polling in phased manner, being held after abrogation of Article 370 and making of J&K as Union Territory, also predicts 31 seats for INDIA block parties out of 47 Assembly seats in Kashmir region – 8 seats for PDP and  no seat for BJP in the Kashmir valley .

In Jammu region BJP is likely to get 27 -31 seats and INDIA block likely to get 11-15 seats as per exit polls released on Saturday out of 43 seats.

The India Today-C Voter exit poll predicts BJP to get 27-31 seats in Jammu region, and opposition’s INDIA bloc (including the National Conference, Congress and others) may bag around 11 to 15 seats in the region and Mehbooba Mufti’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is likely to get between 0–2 seats.
