Former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has strongly condemned the decision of the state government to discontinue the free electricity scheme.
He said, “ The Congress is known for such kind of autocratic decisions and the Sukhu government has now snatched away the free electricity being provided to the people of the state; the party which had promised to give 300 free electricity to consumers has now snatched away even 125 units free electricity.”
He said, “The Sukhu government is going to change the basic structure of OPS and reduce the pension from 50 percent to 30 percent of the last salary.”
