The fun by the students of National Law University, Delhi, in a waterfall near Solan turned into a tragedy as a 19 year- old- student died after being hit by a shooting stone, near Solan on Friday .
A spokesman of the Solan Police said, “The deceased Akshat Dev , a resident of Gandhinagar of Jaipur district in Rajasthan was traveling with a group of13 fellow students and all of them went to a waterfall in the Ashwani Khad, near Solan ; while they were enjoying in the water fall a shooting stone came from above and hit him on his head .”
“The boy fell unconscious and suffered excessive blood loss; he was taken to Regional Hospital Solan but was declared brought dead by the doctor attending him,” the police added.
