All preparations have been completed for the voting for the parliament election in Mandi district to be held on June 1 (Saturday).
Returning officer Apporv Devgan said , “ The polling will be held from 7 am to 6 pm, the polling parties have already reached 1217 polling booths set for the voting in Mandi district and micro observers have been appointed in 16 critical polling stations,” he added .
He said, “ To attract youths for polling, one polling station in each Assembly constituency will be operated by youth polling staff, apart from this, two polling stations in each Assembly constituency will be operated by women polling personnel and disabled personnel will also take the responsibility of conducting voting at two polling stations in the district”.
