Himachal Pradesh government has put a complete ban on transfers of state government employees in the state with effect from November 21, 2023.
As per a notification issued by the General Administration Department of the state government no transfer of any state government employee would be effected in the state till further orders in this regard.
The state government has also informed all Administrative Secretaries to the state government, Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners about the decision of banning transfers of state government employees .
