Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has appealed to the public not to fall prey to Ponzi schemes for fast returns and assured the Kingpin of the Crypto Currency Fraud won’t be spared.
While presiding over a meeting at Shimla on Saturday he said, “It a matter of concern over Rs 2500 crore was invested by gullible investors of Himachal in illegal Crypto Currency Fraud and appealed people not to invest in unregulated
Crypto currency market exposes investors to very high risk of fraud; even the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) have confirmed the absence of authorization for Crypto currency and Bitcoins trade,” he added.
He said, “I am pained to learn that even people who have received compensation from the four-lane and National Highway Projects put huge money in the fraud scheme to earn fast buck, more than 300 complaints by people losing money have filed FIRs
The Deputy CM said, “The Himachal Police is doing a good job to nab the culprits involved in the fraud; three accused Hem Ram, Sukh Dev and Abhishek have been arrested in the case and every effort is being made to bring the main accused Subhash from abroad.”
