Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) Hospital Shimla on late Wednesday night due to severe pain in his stomach.
Media advisor to the Chief Minister, Naresh Chauhan said, “The Chief Minister had reported acute pain in his stomach in the midnight after which he was admitted in IGMC Hospital Shimla; he is being treated for stomach related infection and is feeling better now.”
He said, “A medical team attending the CM has kept him under close observation and would remain admitted in the hospital for thorough investigation; the CM is absolutely fine and there is no cause of worry as the Doctors attending him have diagnosed it a case of acute gastroenteritis.”
The CM had attended several functions in Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Bilaspur districts during the past few days.
