Himachal Pradesh government has extended the services of 1844 employees of different categories, recruited during COVID -19 pandemic in different health institutions of the state for three months till September 30, 2023.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, “The services of 1844 employees working in different health institutions of the state have been extended till September 30.”
During the Covid-19 pandemic, 1844 employees, including staff nurses, data entry operators and class IV employees etc were recruited through an outsourced agency in medical college and other health institutions and their term had come to an end on June 30.
