The District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Mandi has appointed six lawyers practicing in Mandi courts as Legal Aid Defense Councils (LADC) under the modified LADC scheme.

The councils have been appointed by the DLSA to defend cases of poor people who can’t afford to engage lawyers for their pending cases in the district court.

Abhishek Dogra has been appointed as the Chief Legal Aid Defense Council while Mukesh Kumar Saini and Naresh Malhotra have been appointed as Deputy Legal Aid Defense Councils. All of them have been appointed by the DLSA to defend the cases pending in the District Session Court.

The DSLA has also appointed Hiteshi Sharma, Seema Yadav and Suhsmita Sharma as Assistant Legal Aid councils to defend cases in trial courts.
