Himachal Pradesh BJP president Suresh Kashyap has resigned from the post of party president .
A BJP spokesman confirmed about tendering his resignation letter to National BJP president JP Nadda and said, “Since Kashyap is also MP from Shimla constituency he was finding it difficult to find time for his constituency along with his organizational responsibilities and has thus resigned.”
Kashyap has already completed his two years term as state BJP president. He was also under attack by a section of party leadership as the BJP suffered defeat in three Assemblies and Mandi Parliament by-elections, besides the BJP lost power to Congress in the state in the last Assembly election during his tenure.
