Himachal Cabinet has decided to bring Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPSPC) under the ambit of Himachal Pradesh Prevention of Malpractices at University, Board or other Specified Examination Act -1984 to check any irregularity and ensure fair selection of candidates on merit in a transparent manner.
The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at Shimla on Wednesday also decided to roll out HP Sadhbhawana Legacy Cases Resolution Scheme -2023 for a period of three months to address the legacy cases with an aim to dispose off nearly fifty thousand cases pending for assessment to facilitate small and marginal taxpayers.
It decided to bring 90,362 MNREGA Workers, Ekal Nari and persons with more than 40 percent disability, registered street vendors and children living in the orphanages under the ambit of Ayushman Bharat –Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojna.
The Cabinet decided to fill up nine posts of HAS through HPPSC, 45 posts of different categories for vulnerable witness deposition centers, 11 pots of Civil and Session divisions and in Nalagarh, Sarkaghat , Sunder Nagar and Ghumarvin sub divisions .
Three posts of APs in General Medicine, Pathology, Radiotherapy in Dr Radhakishan Medical College, Hamirpur , fill up 10 posts of Civil Judges through direct recruitment and 15 posts of Ayurveda Pharmacists, batch wise.
The Cabinet decided to constitute a Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan to dispose of matters of felling and lopping of trees under Municipal Corporation areas.
It decided to restructure the financial assistance extended to Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (HPPTCL) under Himachal Pradesh Clean Energy Transmission Investment Programme and merge HP Agro Industries Corporation with the HPMC and rename the Department of Environment, Science and Technology as the Department of Environment Technology and Climate Change.
It decided to dedicate Center for Science, Learning and Creativity at Village Bhog (Shoghi) to providing a forum to children enabling them to pursue their natural instinct and disseminate science pursue innovations.
