The state government has decided to withdraw all cases registered against people for violating COVID norms during the pandemic.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said,” When the entire world was going through a difficult period during the lockdown many people struggling to meet both ends meals were forced to move out for arranging food, medicines and other essential items, besides many others spending nights in the streets and had no other choice than to violate the COVID norms .”
He said, “Considering all these facts the state government has decided to withdraw all such cases.”
