Congress party has staked claim to the next government in Himachal Pradesh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Congress observer for the state accompanied by former CM of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress state in-charge Rajiv Shukla handed over the letter staking claim to form the government to HP Governor Rajender Arkleshwar on Friday at Raj Bhawan.
The Congress has won 40 seats in the recently concluded election while BJP have won 25 seats. Three Independents have also won.
