Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said the projects of over Rs. 10,000 crore have been sanctioned to Himachal Pradesh by the Central government, besides giving a financial assistance of Rs 800 crore .
Addressing Tridev Sammelan at Solan on Thursday he said , “ The state government has launched several welfare schemes for welfare of different sections of society but it is unfortunate the leader of opposition is saying they would scrap these schemes after coming to power .”
He said, “The AIIMS Bilaspur, four Medical Colleges, Atal Tunnel Rohtang, IIM etc. were possible with the support of the Central government and Double Engine Government was instrumental in implementing these projects.”
The CM exhorted party activists to work with greater commitment and dedication to bring BJP back to power in the state.
The Chief Minister also backed the Agnipath Yojna of the Central Government terming it as a scheme to strengthen the Indian Army and provide employment to the youths of the country.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar in his address said, “As many as 18 States of the country are having NDA led -BJP Government and all these governments and the Central government are working for the welfare of society.”
Highlighting various schemes launched by the Central government, the minister said the state government led by CM Jai Ram Thakur has done good work and people would support the government here again.
State BJP president Suresh Kashyap, several ministers, MLAs and other leaders were present in the sammelan.
