The composite Regional Center for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC) Sunder Nagar celebrated its 21st Foundation Day on Monday.
Dr Himangshu Dass, Director of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities Dehradoon was the chief guest on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Das appreciated the good work done by the CRC Sunder Nagar during the past 21 years since its inception and said the CRC has made many achievements by empowering several persons with disabilities besides, providing them medical assistance .
Highlighting the achievements of the institute Dr. Shatrughan Singh In- charge of the CRC said, “The institute established by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India has covered several milestone during its journey of 21 years and has recently signed an MOU with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur, which would help the stakeholders from both the institutes in getting specialized medical services:”
Heads of departments and staff members remained present in the foundation day function. Sandeep Trivedi, administrative officer of the institute presented a vote of thanks .
