Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has announced to give higher pay scales to state government employees on completion of two years term for regularization of service, to those employees who were not given the scale prior to January 3, 2022.
Addressing mahasamelan of the employees on Sunday at Shimla, Thakur also announced higher pay for junior office assistants (IT) on completion of two years service.
He said, “The state government has always been responsive to the demand raised by the employees, maintained cordial relation with them and ensured they do not face inconvenience even during COVID 19 pandemic as full salaries, pension and other benefits were given to them for two years.”
Narrating several benefits given to the employees by the state government, the CM said, “The scales of the employees were revised raising salaries and pensions up to 15 percent, daily wage was hiked from Rs 210 in 2017 to Rs 350, giving them DA at par with their Punjab employees, besides giving benefits to different categories of employees.”
