Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has decided to open schools for students of 9 to 12th classes from September 27 on alternative days.
This decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting held at Shimla on Friday chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. The students of class X and XII would attend the classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays while students from other classes would attend the schools on the remaining three days of the week. However, online classes would continue for the classes up to 8th standard.
The Cabinet has decided to fill up 8000 posts of Multi Task Workers in the educational institutions on part time basis with an monthly honorarium of Rs 5625 for 10 months in an each academic session, gave approval for fill up 20 posts of Naib Tehsildar in Revenue Department through direct recruitment on regular basis and fill up 10 posts of different categories in Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur.
The Cabinet decided to amend the transfer policy for inter district transfer of JBT and C&V teachers by reducing the existing tenure from 13 years to five years, including contract period, for inter district transfers and increasing this quota from 3 to 5 percent .
It also decided to enhance honorarium of outsourced IT teachers by Rs 500 per month from April 1st 2021, open an Ayurvedic Health Centre at village Chhiyal under Manali tehsil and rename Forest Training Institute and Rangers College Sunder Nagar as Himachal Pradesh Forest Academy.
The Cabinet decided to rename Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana as Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Himcare scheme as Mukhyamantri Himachal Health Care Yojna-Himcare and to rename Sahara Yojna as Mukhyamantri Sahara Yojna.
The Cabinet also gave its consent to draft a proposal for Customised Package of Incentives for Mega Industrial Projects in the State under Himachal Pradesh Industrial Investment Policy and Rules -2019.
It also gave its approval to the policy of replacement / maintenance of damaged crash barriers in the State to ensure safety of the commuters, upgrade High Schools Palchan, Janna, Dharot Dhar and Shirad to Senior Secondary Schools , upgrade Shalagad Middle School to High School and Middle School Hallan—1to High School and open primary school at Damsed in Mandi district.
The Cabinet decided to open a new Division of Jal Shakti Department at Baijnath, upgrade Sub Tehsil Sainj to Tehsil, upgrade PHC Swarghat, PCH Arsu and Gadsa o CHCs and open PHC at Jagatkhana, Ghatu, Bagipul and Urtu.
