Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has invited Prime Minister Narender Modi to attend the Golden Jubilee function of Himachal Pradesh statehood day through virtual mode.
Thakur called upon the PM in New Delhi on Friday and requested him to be part of the function being observed on January 25, 2021 to celebrate 50 years of the state attaining statehood and bless the people of the state.
The CM also invited the PM to inaugurate 111 Megawatt Sawra – Kuddu Hydro Power Project completed at the cost of Rs 1796 crores in Shimla district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Chief Minister for successful completion of three years of the state government.
Thanking the PM for continuous support during the last three years, especially in executing ambitious projects like Atal tunnel , the CM apprised him about the rapid progress made during this period and said the people of the state are indebted to him.
Thakur updated the status of various ongoing development projects as the state government is completing three years in office on December 27, 2020.
He sought the help of the PM in clearing Rs 233 million US $ tourism project from the ABD and support for the Nagchala Airport project.
The Chief Minister also called upon Raksha Mantri Raj Nath Singh and invited him to join the celebration of completion of the state government’s three years through virtual mode on December 27 , 2020.
He informed following the COVID-19 protocols this year the celebrations are being held virtually.
