Most Indians keeping a close watch on US Presidential election must have sighed a breath of relief since Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton has taken 3 percent lead over Republican candidate Donald Trump in a latest survey by ABC News- New York Times, four days before election on November 8.
In the last survey on November 1st , Trump had taken a lead of one percent over Clinton. This had created a flutter in India as Trump had been speaking against immigrants especially Indians and taking somewhat hostile stands towards many countries including India in his speeches.
Fearing Trump’s possible win share markets throughout the world had tumbled down drastically after this.
According to latest survey Clinton is leading among 47 percent voters included in the survey while Trump is popular among 44 percent voters.
Even on the issues in the election Democratic Party and Clinton are better placed than Republicans in this survey.
