A death from COVID -19 has been reported from Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College (SLBSMC) Ner Chowk on Thursday.
Dr Joginder Thakur Medical Superintendent of the college said, “A 70 years male patient suffering with co -morbidity was referred from Kullu to the SLBSMC and tested COVID-19 positive. The patient was suffering from arrhythmia, chronic kidney diseases and fluid overload with a history of CAD, hypertension and type II diabetes and died within 6 hours of testing COVID -19 from sudden cardiac arrest.”
The death from COVID-19 has been reported after more than a year in Mandi district.
