Mr. Shiv Pratap Shukla has been appointed the new Governor of Himachal Pradesh by President of India Mrs. Dropadi Murmu, replacing present Governor Mr.Rajender Vishvanath Aerlekar who has now been appointed Bihar Governor.
Mr Shukla, who is Rajya Sabha Member, hails from Uttar Pradesh and has represented UP Vidhan Sabha four times.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri have congratulated Mr. Shukla for the appointment.
