Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh ‘Sukhu’ and Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri officially took over offices in HP Secretariat on Monday. On reaching the secretariat they were greeted by the officers and officials at the gate.
Later, the CM held a meeting with Congress MLAs and officers separately. Talking to media persons the CM said, “I am thankful to people of the state for giving an opportunity to a common man like me to attain the highest office in the state.”
He said, “Our government is committed to fulfill all promises made to people during the election and people should give them some time to discuss the issues and make policy decisions.”
The CM said, “We hold consultation with all senior leaders like Kaul Singh Thakur, Vidya Stokes, Viplov Thakur, Kulddep Kumar and others to implement promises made by the Congress party.”
He said, “Consultation is going on for the Cabinet formation.”
