Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, “HP Government is committed to fulfill ten guarantees made by Congress party during the Assembly election and it would make every effort to work as per expectation and aspiration of people of the state as per Congress pratigya patra -22.”
The CM in a statement issued from New Delhi on Tuesday said, “The Congress has already clarified all pending demands of state government employees would be fulfilled and the promise to restore OPS would be taken up in the first Cabinet Meeting.”
He said, “The Finance Department has been directed to come up with detailed proposals regarding implementation of OPS to facilitate NPS employees and suggestions are being sought from employee’s organizations, experts and people while framing a comprehensive OPS policy.”
He said, “I am undergoing quarantine after getting tested positive for covid-19 on Monday to follow COVID-19 protocol and would return soon to Shimla after mandatory quarantine period to resume my duties.”
