Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur interacted with DC’s and SP’s of the districts through a video conference to review preparedness for tackling emergency situations during the monsoon.
The Chief Minister directed the officers to make foolproof arrangements for disaster management in view of heavy rains and deploy men and machinery in the areas prone to landslides and natural calamities.
He said, “Security measures should be taken at camping sites located on the banks of the rivers and officers involved in disaster management should be directed to remain vigilant; availability of quick reaction teams be ensured and emergency operations centres should be established at districts and sub division level” , the CM added.
The CM also directed DC’s to complete all arrangements in a time bound manner in view of ensuing apple season and motivate people to take precautionary measures to check COVID-19 .
